If you are not sure if you Microsoft Access installed - there are several methods - depending which version of Windows you are using.
Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7

Click on the Start Icon |

Select All Programs |

Use the Scroll Bar to firstly establish if you have Microsoft Office Installed. Click on Microsoft Office to open the Office folder - if Access is intalled it will appear in the list |
If you are using Windows 8
 |
If you have opened the Desktop select Start |
 |
Click on the Search Icon |
 |
Type Acc or Access This will show if you have Access installed |
Alernatively - Using Windows 8

If you have opened the Desktop select Start |
 |
Select Apps If you have Access installed you should see it within the Apps displayed |
